1986-Alamo Plaza
San Antonio

Installation of a bronze relief sculpture of "The Alamo, 1836" in Alamo Plaza, commissioned by the city of San Antonio.
The concept of the piece was to provide Alamo visitors a bronze model of the Alamo as it appeared in 1836. A map and index are part of the base.
The bronze provides a comparison to the appearance of present-day Alamo and the surrounding area. The entire piece sits permanently on Alamo Plaza in downtown San Antonio.
